大家好!我是AlexWong,曾于2009至2010年在诺亚国际英语学习。现在在美国念高中，将于今年秋天考入威斯康星大学继续学习。在这里我想谈谈诺亚以及诺亚带给我的改变。
首先，诺亚拥有一批很优秀的外教及中教老师。我遇到的外教学识渊博并且很有趣，他们教会了我很多英语学习的方法以及外国文化。我遇见了很多美国老师(V和Marchello)，他们帮助我建立说英语的信心。自信是学外语的关键，但有时它也成为难以克服的障碍。在他们的帮助和鼓励下，我轻松的克服了障碍，有他们当老师总是很快乐。我依稀记得V和Marchello上课的情形，有他们的课堂总是充满了欢声笑语。他们的课堂既轻松又教会了我知识。这只是我个人与外教相处的经历，我相信很多其他朋友跟我有相似的感受。我的中教老师都很有耐心，对人友好。当我的课程出现任何问题时，他们总是很耐心的帮我解决，我从内心深处感谢他们。总之，在诺亚我度过了一段美好的时光。
另一点我想说的是，诺亚尽全力为学员提供了非常温馨舒适的全英文环境，这是学习一门语言非常重要的条件。当然，也会有学员有意无意的打破这种纯英文环境，毕竟没有什么是完美的。在诺亚，会碰到志同道合的朋友，成就一段友谊。在一起上课很容易就会变成朋友，这种友情会一直延续。我碰到了很多同龄人，他们也打算去美国念书，我们一起分享经历，为未来美国的生活做准备。我认识了两个女生，她们分别去了美国和英国，现在我们还保持密切的联系，这些，都是诺亚给我的。
最后，我想给大家一些学英语的建议。记单词方面，抛开传统的词汇书，读一些英文原版作品，在阅读中记忆单词，挑出生单词，在上下文中更好的理解每个单词的用法。当一个单词反复在文中出现，记忆起来就会更简单。我们不仅在阅读中记忆了单词，也拓展了自己的知识面，一箭双雕!当然，每个人适合的方法不同，有些人也许更喜欢直接的记忆单词，但如果你还没试过我的方法，不妨尝试一下咯，挑战新鲜事物总是很有趣的!提到说英语，自信点儿，这是必经的一步，没有具体变得自信的方法，完全取决于个人。问问自己的心，有多想说一口标准的英语，有多想达成下一个目标!自信，一切障碍都不会成为问题。

Greetingstoyouall!MynameisAlexWong.IamaformerstudentatRoyalEnglishfrom2009to2010.IattendedhighschoolintheUSandIwillbeastudentatUniversityofWisconsin-Madisonthisfall.I'mwritingthisletterinhopetoconveymyopinionsofRoyalEnglishandhowithadchangedme.
Firstoff,RoyalEnglishhassomeveryfineteachers,bothforeignanddomestic.TheforeignteachersIhadencounteredwereallveryfun-lovingandknowledgeable.TheyhadtaughtmemuchabouttheEnglishlanguageandculture.InmycaseIhadamajorityofAmericanteachers(VandMarchellotobespecific),andbothofthemdidafabulousjobhelpingmetobeconfidentinspeakingtheEnglishlanguage.Bingconfidentinspeakinganewlanguageiskey,andoftentimesitisthemostdifficultbarriertoovee.Withtheirhelpandencouragement,Iwasabletooveethatobstaclewithease.Furthermore,itwasalwaysfunhavingthemasteachers.IstillrememberhavingclasseswithbothVandMarchelloandsometimesthewholeclassperiodwasfilledwithlaughter.Theydefinitelytrytomaketheclassasrelaxingaspossiblewhileteachingmesomeveryvaluablelessons.Thisisjustmyexperiencewiththeforeignteachers,butIamsurethatmanyothersarelikethesame.ThedomesticteachersIhavebefriendedwithwereverypatientandkind.ForexampletheywerealwaysverypatientandfriendlywhenIhadissuesschedulingcoursesandIamverygratefulforthat.OverallitwasarealpleasureworkingwithalloftheteachersatRoyalEnglish.
AnotheraspectIlikedaboutRoyalEnglishisthatithastheoptimalenvironmentfortrueEnglishlearners.TheytrytheirbesttocreateanEnglish-onlyenvironmentwhichisessentialtolearningaforeignlanguage.OfcoursetheirwouldbepeoplewhobreakthisEnglish-onlyruleintentionallyorunintentionally,butnothingisperfect.Also,youwillmeetgreatpeople(students)likeyouatRoyal.TheenvironmentatRoyalfostersgreatfriendships.Thepeopleyougotoclasseswithwillsoonbeyourfriends,andthatfriendshipdoeslastforalongtime.InmycaseImetmanypeopleofmyagewhowereabouttogototheUSforschool.WewereabletoshareexperiencesandhelpeachotherpreparingfortheuingadventuresintheUS.IstillkeepintouchwithagirlwhogoestoschoolinEnglandandanothergirlwhogoestoschoolintheUS,bothofwhomImetatRoyalEnglish.
FinallyIwouldliketoofferyousometipsinlearningEnglish.Regardingmemorizingvocabularies,IsuggesttossingawaythetraditionalvocabbookandreadoriginalEnglishliterature.Youwillpickupunfamiliarwordsasyougoanditiseasiertounderstandtheusageofthewordwithinthecontext.Also,Ifinditmucheasiertomemorizethewordonceyou'veseenittimesaftertimesinyourreadings.Itisagoodwaytohittwobirdswithonestone:youwillnotonlybeabletomemorizethewordandunderstanditsmeaningandusage,butalsoacquireknowledgefromwhateverarticlesorbooksyouarereading.Ofcourse,itisnotthebestwayforeveryone.Someofyoumayfinditeasiertojustplainlymemorizethevocabs.Regardless,ifyouhavenevertriedmymethod,giveitashot.It'salwaysfuntotryoutnewwaystodothings!Asforspeakingthelanguage,justbeconfident.Itisthesteppingstonetobingafluentspeaker.Thereisnorealmethodastohowtobeconfident.Itisreallyuptoyou.Askyourselfhowbaddoyouwanttobefluent?OrhowsoondoyouwanttoachieveyournextgoalinlearningEnglish?Onceyou'reconfident,allotherobstacleswillfalllikedominoes.
