ACT的考位相对于SAT宽松多了，所以考生在截止日期前都可以轻松报名。
ACT最大的缺点是出分慢，最长的出分时间是8周!需要考生们提前做好安排。ACT发布的2015年上半年报名截止日期和出分时间如下：

其实ACT已经在努力改进出分速度了。新的年度，大部分考试的出分速度加快到了9天(去年是16天)，也就是考试结束后第二周的周一学生就可能收到自己的分数。而ACT的作文成绩一般会在常规成绩公布后的2周内公布。
其实考试成绩拖延到8周才出的情况是非常少见的，大家不必过于担心，官网上也给出了成绩推迟公布的若干个理由，感兴趣的学生也可以研究下：
